Trailer Life magazine devoted 11 pages in the May 2006 issue to Airstream. It's a well deserved 75th Anniversary commemorative. Article 1 - Creating a Classic, Article 2 - The Adventure of a Lifetime, Article 3 - Anniversary Innovations.

Pick up a copy if you can as it's an excellent read. great pics and nice timeline included. The VAC get's prominent mention as well.

Interesting they devoted 8 pages to Wally (his 36 years running the company, 3 pages just on his caravans.) and only three pages to what Thor is up to now. Looks like they think Wally was a signifigant person in the evolution of the RV industry and his legacy is worth saving. Funny the name change committee did not think so???
