That's right. As of September 15th, Airstream has its own official coffee. Read about it in "The Buzz" on www.airstream.com. Then go to www.silverjoes.com. The logo is really neat. I'm ordering the coffee right away. Since Coors Light already has the Silver Bullet, they can be the official beer of Airstream.

There is a link on The Buzz on the Company website to read the entire press release on the Silver Joes Coffee arrangement.

Seattle all-the-way!

Okay moosetags -- good idea, but PUH-LEASE!!!

Don't even mention Tully's or Starbuck's! Cafe Lladro is quite good. But for the supreme, superior & superlative coffee of the northwest, I would nominate Tangletown's Zoka Coffee! It will absolutely make you wonder why you were spending your time with anyone ... um, anything else. I've been enjoying a Costa Rican Santa Maria de Dota so far this late summer but am about to cycle to their Organic Sumatra Gayoland -- from a bright to an intense -- two very different experiences. Try it... Logos don't count for nuttin`!

[on edit:] uh-h-h, yes, I admit. I use a The Roasterie can (courtesy of 2air') to carry my frozen beans with me while Airstreaming -- but truly, Zoka's is non pareil! My latest purchase was a hand cranked burr grinder -- good, but tedious to use for more than one fanatic. Improves quality immensely!

Hi my name is AZstreamin I'm a coffee snob. I don't drink excessive quantities just one large sipper cup per day, but if it's not good coffee....don't pour me a cup... I'll take a diet coke or Trader Joes triple latte in a can for my fix instead.
So here you go… I buy it by the case for my office. If you can find better coffee let me know this is wonderful....can you smell it?.....ummmm fresh ground and brewed morning coffee in my Airstream… now this campin’

Here’s my secret….all the way from Costa Rica

http://www.cafebritt.com

Costa Rica Tarrazu Montecielo is my favorite.... ummm delicious.

hi moose tags....

OLD NEWS!

sorry about the shouting...

but i reported this story back in july.

with photos....read about it here. about post #60...

http://www.airforums.com/forum...gon-23910.html

this photo is with dicky holding up THE first tee shirt...

which i purchased.

notice he is wearing the official rbbci beret,

as is the silver joes fella...

click on pix for a larger view of the first airstream coffee stand

and the faux rivet merchandise for sale...

the coffee is just ok. the espresso is better.

funny thing about the rally intro....drinks were free so,

in short order members were lined up for a variety of espresso drinks...

mostly their noses wrinkled at the first sip...more milk, more sugar, more 'favoring', but they still didn't like it much.

virtually none of the wbcci folks had ever tasted espresso...and the guys didn't bring any regular coffee....for the folgers crowd...

by the 3rd day they had some regular coffee for the regular coffee drinkers...

pretty funny since they were making me shots straight up with double soy lattes as chasers....

i haven't read your links yet, so i'll throw in a few other bits first, then go read.

the beans are roasted in king co washington. apparently it took about 2 years to get the company from concept to beans...

they are actually in fort smith arkansas...not exactly the napa valley of coffee...so they contract for roasting in the northwest...playing on the coffee reputation...

cheers

hi mon! and rbcci loyal followers...

in the 'buzz' photo slide show,
in the links posted,
you will see the 'official rbcci beret' on the coffee guy...the tall one.
i couldn't get the meaty guy on his right to wear it...

they are very friendly folks and i wish them well...

expect a series of 'airstream lifestyle products'
for the younger airstream demographic...
this is only the beginning...
and as i've mentioned b4,
part of the reason they have been protecting the brand identity...

cheers

The Airstream borg will accesorize you

If the nice folks at Jackson Center marketing wander over to the local Harley-Davidson dealer they will learn all there is to know about marketing. Harley's profit line is repair, store item sales and lastly motorcycle sales. Simple logic really. More people can afford a T-shirt than a bike. Also since Harley is a "Lifestyle" people that buy into that also buy tons of Harley products. It is not a great leap for Airstream to do the same thing.

i was just excited to brag that i beat airstream to the punch reporting their own story...

besides who would think to search for something like 'airstream coffee'

i can just see the new posts now...

'how much coffee and what grind should i use for a 59 flying cloud?'

'i just found this airstream coffee grinder on ebay...is it original?'

and so on...

cheers

Almost anything is better than Starbucks burnt tasting, all blends taste the same coffee. They've become the Walmart or Mc Donalds of coffee stores. It's amazing what throwing a lot of money at and opening a lot of stores can do for a product even when it's not very good. Sure hope these guys actually have good coffee and not just a marketing plan.
