I feel sorry for her so I'm trying to help her escape. I sent her a file in a cake- a nail file.

Here in Maricopa Count Sheriff Joe said Paris would be welcome to spend her time in Tent City...

I'm a retired L.A. County Superior Court Clerk. So let me shed some light.

She got the same time as anybody else with mutiple low level probation violations. Now usually you go in and the Sheriffs tosses you out.

However it is common for the Judge to order No early release. (This does not include the good time work time that brings Paris from 45 days to 23 days.) The Sheriff is supposed to honor that.

So Paris is back in to serve the remainder of her 23 days.

Baca sent her home on Home monitoring claiming a medical condition to dodge the Judges order. He did not provide that medical report to the Judge even though the Judge requested it. He does not want to be responsibile for what may happen to her or any photos someone may take and sell. His Dept. would then get sued. Also he would not get any campaign donations from that sector if she stayed in. I can tell you stories about that type of stuff.

Paris's condition is mental. Two weeks ago her shrink testified in a civil case that she was unable due to her mental illness to take part in her case. That case was continued again. Now this is a person who has walked red carpets and otherwise lived a full active life. This same Dr. told the Sheriff's Dept. she was on the verge of a breakdown and Baca had his excuse and used it.

The L.A. Sheriffs Dept. has a long history of ignoring Court orders. This time the Judge called them on it and Baca is weeweeing backwards as best he can.

Bottom line is that Paris if left unchecked will kill or maim somebody and I don't know about you but I won't feel any better if my kid gets run over by Paris as opposed to some unknown.

Milo,

Thanks for that perspective. She does appear to have problems. But lets not forget that she was under the influence. Not too long ago this forum was ready to string up the fellow who hit Terry (Overlander63) and I think that he was sober. Paris could do real damage to a pedestrian or someone on a scooter going 70 in a Bentley.

Sermon on. Don't drink and drive, get a designated driver. Sermon off.

Bill

Well said Goin.
The minute I heard that the S.O. had released her to home, I thought there was trouble brewing due to the fact that the judge was specific in his orders that this NOT happen. I was mildly glad to see Baca get slapped down for it. Why should he (the S.O.) get to ignore a judge any more than you or I? Or Paris?

Why in the world does someone like that need to drive in the first place? I'm surprised she doesn't just ride in a limo with a couple of bodyguards.

Or, the bodyguards could drive a silver Hummer H1, and tow her around in a Base Camp. She'd be able to keep all her stash in there, and if she ever needed to make another video, she'd have sleeping arrangements and everything ready to go.

I'm also stunned that Paris was even choosing to drive. She's worth what, $35 to 40 million? Geez, cough up a few hundred bucks and rent a limo.

As for her jail adventure, I thought that the Sherriff letting her go after a mere 3 days was poor form and undermined public confidence in the system. It has nothing to do with soaking the rich; rather, it's about fair treatment for everyone, rich and poor.

Last year Paris sported a t-shirt reading "I'm Paris Hilton. I can do whatever I want." That attitude doesn't help her case.

That t-shirt and her continuing sagas which are always in the news are probably why the public voted the way they did in the CNN poll in my last post on this thread.

Hi the community;
If you want to support Paris to pay the caution, you can buy her aistream there:
eBay Motors: Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie Airstream CCD Int'l (item 130122477271 end time Jun-13-07 21:06:19 PDT)

Is it a good business ?
(I talk about the caravan, lol )

Bruno.

These additonal posts after my last one have added detail to the story that I wasn't aware from the limited reading of the national articles I've seen.

Perhaps this is proper justice being metted out. All I am saying is that celebrities shouldn't get off because they're celebrities, but nor should they get extra beating because "we can finally tear one of 'em down."

Maybe she'll be better for this. They did say Christian Slater straighted up after having to wash police cars for a month or two.

I do think its bogus to send her home and then bring her back. Regardless of the reasons. If the judge gets bent out of shape, he should take it out on the sheriff that sent her home, not her.

So he dose not have control of his jail and staff and is not able to meet the responsibilities of his office. He should be removed and charged with malfeasance.

going camping has it right on ,but its a total circus on this Paris thing and
the bottom line above anything being discussed here is to obey the law in the first place drive responsibly and alert ,no drinking and driving ,doesn't matter
about the details of the case ,its just illegal and Paris figured she did not need to listen to the judge in the first place when he gave her probation!
Lindsey lohan is the another one thats in very seriouse trouble of killing herself and others ,shows you money doesn't mean much ,these people still have real problems going on ,hopefully they can be helped before its too late.
