Hey Vaughan -- think this will be anything like eBay where price will fly high in the last day or so? It still has until Dec 11th to run.

Wonder who did the resto? TTT?

Got to admit - it's very nice. Wonder who did the restore job on it? Anyone who knows the people that buy Orvis, know them to pay way to much for a name and not the quality of the product. It's good stuff but way overpriced.

I only guessed TTT due to the northern Rockies origin of the Airstream. Sho' nuff... Timeless Travel Trailers - Orvis -- plenty more to browse at that link.

I just know I won't be bidding it up any.

It does look very nice, though.

This should be no problem.

I've got until December 11th to win Power Ball or Mega Millions.

Very nice indeed. I love all the wood but my wife would hate it just because of all the wood. She isn't quite as rustic as I pretend to be.

I realize it's designed with fishing in mountain streams and all that sort of thing in mind, but I wouldn't buy a cheap disposable car that didn't have AC, I'm not about to spend some astronomical amount of money on a pretty trailer I wouldn't want to be inside between late April and early October anywhere within 500 miles of home. Maybe when we've retired and can summer someplace high and/or north enough to be cool in the summer. For that kind of money the could've hidden AC somewhere, but in the TTT page about the Orvis it just says "provisions have been made for adding AC."

Not that I have the insane amount of money it'll obviously take to clear the reserve, so perhaps my finicky attitude is just a facade to hide the fact that we're not rich.

The A/C was left out to preserve the design lines of the original trailer.

Okay but there are other ways of preserving the lines AND providing air conditioning. Many examples here on the forums and doesn't have to be $$$$ either. I'm not buying a luxury "home" without common amenities ....just saying....
