This trailer should look like a bargin to guys that are dumb enough to pay outrageous prices for a glorified cane pole i.e. flyrod .

It's beautiful. The bid is now $60,000 and the reserve has not been met. Wow.

My WAG is that it will hit at least $70k, likely $75k.

The "different" factor is just waaaay stronger than any other TT.

Let's start a pool. I say $135,000.

Based on the Rover's final winning bid, I'd say $148,300. Although, the vintage trailer market is a bit smaller than the vintage auto market so the showing may not be as strong.

Could you imagine a Mecum Trailers & More Auction? My saturday night would never be the same!

I like the trailer, TTT did a great job. But if I'm going to pay $75,000+ for a retro, I'm going to have TTT build it to my specs. I would do it differently, but pretty close to the Orvis one. I would put solar on the roof, NO AC, and lots of outside access storage. And 35 gallon holding tanks, unless TTT could figure out a way to install even bigger ones. I rarely eat inside my trailer, so that dinette works for me. Put a bottle in the middle of the table, four glasses around the rim, and wait for the rain to stop so we can go back outside where we belong.

Several years ago, Ralph Lauren did four new 19' Bambi's and auctioned them for charity. Cheapest one was over $100,000. The RL Bambi's were pretty simple make overs compared to the Orvis TTT unit. My guess is that the Orvis trailer will go for $125,000 to $140,000.

$128,477.23 is my guess - just over $125K is probably the limit.

I think you all are crazy for thinking it will only go for 120-150. With that level of polish, the rare California Whale Tale, and the copper interior walls, my guess is 250+.

We may be wrong, but I don't think we are crazy. The voices tell me I'm the sanest man they know.

It's not the voices in my head I worry about, it's the messages I get from the alien spaceship through my teeth filings that bother me.

Ask them to give you the winning lottery numbers.
