NEU Wedding Rally in USA Today

As some of you might have seen elsewhere, two members of the USA Today staff came to the Wedding Rally hosted by the New England Unit a short while ago. This topic has some general information about the rally itself.

We are not quite sure what they plan to publish or how much. Could be anything from a colored pie-chart showing age groups of who is wearing a blue beret to a half page of fun photos. Last information I have is that the paper plans to publish this on Tuesday 6/26/07, to somewhat coincide with International in Perry. This is obviously subject to last minute changes. I'll use this note to keep everyone posted, in case you want to grab a copy of it.

Unfortunately, we were not given a date when it would be published, but it appears as if the story was out in yesterday's issue:

If you hurry down to the store you might be able to catch a copy of that weekend edition.

Titu just stopped by the store on the way to work, and the (MONDAY) USA today issue has more pics and info regarding the AS wedding. T picked up some extra copies and I'm going to see if I can pick up a few more. I'm hoping to get the SUNDAY issue today as well.

Good morning everyone- Yes the article is in today! I didn't realize there was a Sunday edition of USA Today. If there is more articles in that we would love to see it! If someone could pick us up a copy it would be most appreciated! Lots of great info on the wedding, Airstreams, and all sorts of great stuff. They have even more photos and video on their web-site! Hurray for Airstreams and all those who love them so much! But even more inportant is the wonderful Airstream Sandi and I have and we wouldn't trade that for anything! Thank you everyone again for making our special day sp very special!

We just read the article in today's USA Today. It's a great, positive article about Airstreams, something we really need right now. Thanks Rick and Sandy for be the catalyst that started it.

I just spoke to the USAtoday folks and the internet pictures are not always published in the newspaper. Todays newspaper issue only has a few pictures regarding the wedding rally. The cost per picture if interested through USAtoday is $75.00 per copy.

Gail- Do not send them any money. Sandi and I were supposed to get all the images taken at our wedding. Over 4,000 photos were taken and USA Today was there as our guests once they asked our wedding planner (Robin) for permission. Hang tight and let's see what happens.
