Thanks...it's on again at 10 pm on dish Sat...will record it for a look-see! I know he keeps his AS down on the beach at Malibu...we drove up the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) through Malibu last week, but didn't see where he's got it stashed....

I've read where MM moved out of his AS a year ago, at his girlfriends request....hmmm....and they just had a baby boy earlier this month...wonder if he kept the AS out at the beach for some quick get-a-ways....
Let's face it, the guy has good taste in RV's...

MM also keeps an Airstream here in Austin. Or at least, he did for a long time.

article in nov arch digest
Has anyone seen the McConaughey article in the Nov issue of Arch Digest? It is exclusively about his Airstreams.
The 'Surfer Dude' truly shares the passion we all have for Airstreaming.
I scanned the piece and posted it here... http://dwmorrison.com/archdigest-nov2008.pdf

Matthew must be a forum member in cognito. I just know it. Where are you, Matthew? You can park your Airstream in my yard anytime (not much of a veiw, though)! Thanks for the article. I'm a bit crazy about Matthew. Not that it's obvious or anything.

personally i'm tired of hearing about MM and his airstream. everytime i open an issue of airstream life, there's another article about him.
by the way, it's still at malibu rv park. you can't miss it driving up PCH, it's right in the front row just above PCH.
airstreaming was cool long before MM was around......

MM is an Airstreamer, and a huge Texas Longhorns fan. He's alright by me.

I like MatthewM and I think it's cool he's into Airstreams just like we all are. Just goes to show even famous people can enjoy the same simple things that regular folk do. Enjoyed the article....

Believe It Or Not...
Mathew has been on the forums for quite some time now. As a matter of fact he's an Airforums Moderator! Lately he's been traveling incognito as Captain Jack Aubrey...
One of his Airstreams is named the Canoe. Recently he said, "The highways are like a Stream, they're just concrete."
I don't think I'm at liberty to say anymore than that.

Matthew McConaughey and family reclaim the Airstream
Matthew McConaughey might have given up his beloved Airstream trailer as his primary residence, but that doesn’t mean the shirtless wonder has cut all ties to it. McConaughey, his girlfriend Camila Alves and their 4-month-old son, Levi, piled in and took to the Texas roads, according to Us Weekly.
After visiting the actor’s mother, Kay McConaughey — who tells Us of her grandson, “He’s beautiful, just so mellow!” — the family has been touring McConaughey’s home state. “Levi’s going to grow up to be a wonderful guy who loves life,” Kay McConaughey told the magazine.

I have told friends and family I won't buy a lottery ticket for two reasons. First, it's a tax on people who can't do math. Second, I might win. All of that folding money would most likely ruin me. Funny, but something about all of those greenbacks can easily set a person to thinking that the rules of life do not necessarily apply to him or her. As fate would have it, I'm luckier than Mr. McConaughey having successfully avoided both fame and fortune.
If the guy is really a vagabond (like many of us), he probably just wants to bomb around in his tin girl, see the country and drink it all in... and I expect the fact that folks recognize him makes "living the dream" a bit harder. I figure the nicest thing we could do for him is just call him "Matt" and talk about our shared passions without any mention of the whole Hollywood nonsense... that is, if any of us actually bump into the guy. I'm going to keep my eye out for a guy standing on a trailer hitch wearing a 1700s British Navy uniform.
