The Victorinox 125th Anniversary Special Edition Airstream.

Airstream, Inc :: Victorinox Special Edition

Airstream partnering with Victorinox is a little like Harts turtle food coming out with an Anniversary edition of Schwinn Bicycle…

Pretty cool for some people.....but many of us prefer interiors with the warm feeling of wood and rich color fabrics. I suppose it's good we all don't like the same things....could be real boring!

That's nice!! But how, Is a company known for cutlery fill the need of warm feeling of wood and rich color fabrics!!! Its a knife company (sharp edge)!!! We are talking about Airstream there trying to sell to the masses.
I don't agree with every thing they do and they probably don't agree with every thing we do...

Spotted on Boston City Hall Plaza

for the 4th of July festivities...

You asked for a 34 footer? here you go:

Pan American toy hauler, made into a traveling showroom. I talked to the guy, and he said they're touring around the country with it. I told him about the forums, so he may come here and post a tour schedule.

Curious if anyone knows how well these are selling. I love the interior of these (especially the wool) but have to wonder how well they are selling when every unit I've seen so far is <10 of 125. And every dealer claims they won't last at $60k. I first saw one early this year at my local dealer (April-ish) and I'm fairly certain it's the same unit they have sitting today. So no movement in 8ish months doesn't seem like a "won't last long" situation. Would love to own one, but I have a year of Basecamping ahead of me right now. Would be a perfect transition RV for me once I'm done--but not at $60k.

I know, don't like the price, don't buy it. But I think there's some room on these.

I predicted that this would be another Airstream Edsel - just like the Base Camp - the first time I saw one. If they manage to sell 25 of these I'll be amazed. Just don't think Victorinox is a big enough deal in the USA for people to shell out this kind of money for a 19' trailer - even if it is a Airstream.

Thanks for the video......very well done!

I know, to each his own......but, the Victorinox is a perfect example of what I would "not" want in a trailer.

i think the colors are great, and everything i own from Victorinox is amazingly made and well thought out, so i for one think it fits perfectly with Airstream.

of course i personally will never be able to pay that kind of clams for anything twinky like, but i give a huge thumbs up on it otherwise
