Political satire does seem to evoke a response, hits us in the gut!

From where I'm sittin' .. not getting any younger, we are in the majority insofar as age and population. Freedom of speech and seniority combined, should allow us to express our opinions freely.

We have been there, done that. Baby Boomers have witnessed an extraordinary change in every facet of life. Space travel, global communication, rock and roll, etc. etc.

Hi Fyrzowt good to talk again.
In my aged opinion, I think if you got something to say, Go For It!

There are a couple of reasons why I don't.

1. I respect the wishes of the owner and staff of this website.
All too often folks think they can do whatever they want, whenever they want and call it "rights".
IMO, if you are violating the rules of the forum, you have the right to sanctions and possible removal of posting rights.

2. I value my posting privileges. Notice I didn't say "rights".

Maybe this is all just the Black and white/law enforcement side coming out...

Watch the news. For security reasons you will see American dignitaries land in certain countries for only a few hours. Meetings often occur right at the airport. These airborne pallet units make some sense when you don't want to secure an off-airport hotel for freshening up.

This general topic has been the subject of other interesting threads:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f48/...ion-11165.html

I thank our members who are keeping this within the Community Rules guidelines, "Discussion of politics and religion is permitted only in association with the topic of this forum." People & Airstream discussions -- good. Discussing policies and personal allegiances .... well, there have been no edits whatsoever. Thanks again!

$16,000 for 2 flight seats and a bit of cabinet rework that not a bad deal considering what we spend for a hammer.

I like the sway control straps. Just wondering what they used for WD a Ha Ha or the new Pro.

Don't need a hitch if you treat it like a moho. John Irwin beat us (and the Air Force) all to the starting line - http://www.airforums.com/forums/f39/...html#post75288

Goes to show if you give 10,000 monkeys and me a keyboard they'll certainly produces something silly and (ir)relevant.

[quote=rickandsandi;579038][quote=Minnie's Mate;579019]That's the kicker, the government only paid 8,000 (roughly $16,000 in todays $$$'s), but they paid $380,000,000 US for the tow vehicle (troupe transport)!

Actually a C-130J Series Transport with a full electroincs pack only costs $48.5 million.
You are right. Quite the bargain considering what a little two seat fighter cost.

Some people will believe anything that fits there prior delusions.....

I'll take two at that price....

What you saw is a self contained shielded communications pod to keep in touch with them...
