That's the kicker, the government only paid 8,000 (roughly $16,000 in todays $$$'s), but they paid $380,000,000 US for the tow vehicle (troupe transport)!
You are right. Quite the bargain considering what a little two seat fighter cost.
Now wait one minute..... any two seater fighter jet that I'm gonna stick better cost big bucks. I want and need all the whistles the goverment is will to pay for!
