Anybody else see this article today? I may be on the verge of losing my job as well but I am happy knowing I will always have an aluminum can of my own to call home
The wife sounds a little "unconvinced" by the COOLNESS of this life experience she's been put in.
It sure is nice to have Lucy sitting out in the driveway in case the economic situation worsens. If need be, we could live in Lucy for an indefinite period. We could hide in the hills until the storm blows over.

I think in reading the wife's blog, they had to refurbish some or all of it. I have had several friends ask (jokingly or not so jokingly) if they can live in one of my Airstreams, but I'm saving both for my family. With 3 dogs, 3 cats and 3 humans, I think we will need the space!
If I ever lost my house, I have one with wheels waiting for me in the driveway.....it is a comforting thought. Downsizing would have it's pitfalls, but it can be done.
