Boy, I hope they beefed up the rear of the frame. That's a lot of structure removed for entry door. pano windows, and rear access lift door.

Yep, beautiful! That open rear is the favorite feature on our Interstate, allowing you to almost be outdoors without the bugs, etc. I wonder if screens are available on these, too?
My favorite so far is still the Victorinox. Love, love, love those colors.

That is alot of weight past that last axle. I am sure there are tanks back there that add significant weight to the back. Someone will load that back access with something big. I know that it's the owners responsibility to properly balance and load the trailer but given the ability - most of us would put something big back there.
I would have to see the frame and load ratings for this one. Major mods to the design for that door and pano windows, and knowing AS past history for looks over durability makes me wonder.

Everything's a trade off. Looks like the ability to haul big kayaks etc. costs all the storage that was beneath the port side gaucho and dinette seat. Also it looks like the drawer beneath the starboard side dinette seat is gone allowing for the foldups. But given its intended use it looks like a real success. With our use as indefinite long term living for months on end, we need the storage in our 25 FB. So the tandem bike and kayak go in the pickup.

I'm the ideal candidate for this trailer - we always have kayaks or bikes with us when we go camping.
But I don't know. My two 16' sea kayaks would likely be a tight fit inside. It looks OK for one boat (they changed the galley shape), but two appear to be tight. Good luck squeezing around them to have lunch while on the road. And we often set up camp and then go kayaking somewhere else, so we would need a roof rack anyway.
It would work better with bikes - fold up the dinette side, put the bikes there.
I guess it's good that they didn't go all Eddie Bauer (read: lots of plaid) inside, but in return it doesn't look like Eddie Bauer had much effect inside.

I love the Victorinox too but way to much for me so I had slip covers made from AZBAMBIDECORS and added red and gray accents. So for over half the price I got a similar look! =) I am thinking of changing the trim to aluminum and maybe change the laminates someday.

Thanks! Its a 2006 CCD 19' Bambi. It had green back cushions and AZBambi Décors did the slip covers. I think the Swiss Army is @ 60,000 and I paid 27,000 for our Bambi, it was very lightly used with no defects etc. We bought it last January and have loved every foot of it.
Here is a before pic. We used drawer liner (white) to cover the green in the upper cabinets.

I just copied the Swiss Ary one! I had all winter to play with it and kept buying clearance stuff for the bed etc. Also Ikea for the faucet, spicerack rugs etc. Thanks Pat for inspecting her and not buying it from underneath me! I was worried! Did you keep the airstream rug I sent? I thought it was cool but it didnt work with the CCD look.

It took a long time to find that price! Lots of going back and forth but the POs wife wanted it sold so he trew in is Prodigy 3 brake controller, all the elec cords, hoses, even the silverware and plates! His wife hated it so they only used it 3 times! It was a long drive, @2600 miles rt but it was worth it. PM me if you want some help looking.

thanks brad....(sorry about the name mixup!)
i will...
i've been 'casually' looking for a couple of months now...orginally i wanted to do a vintage remodel, but the more i read about the amount of expense and work involved, i'm not totally convinced (though i haven't ruled it out so i look at both)
don't know if you saw my edit, but is that an acura you are using for a TV?
that was indeed a steal and worth the drive...something i am willing to do...i love road trips

I believe the wheels are 16" with Michelins on a 25 FB. These wheels should be a standard option without the hassle and cost the factory makes one go though currently to upsize the wheels.

I like it! Not sure if I like it enough to pay the price that they are probably going to want for it!
