Greetings everyone. I had some time to put together some photos of our delivery and our first short weekend trip with the new Eddie Bauer and thought I would share them.
My wife laying eyes on the new addition for the first time.
About to pull off the lot with the new addition.
Made it home. Had to dodge the HOA this night.
Hooked up to power so we could sit in it and celebrate.
Some of our close neighbors were kind enough to toast with us.
The rear hatch is already something we used.
So we headed to a state park in east Texas for a short weekend trial run. This is the sun peaking through the small bedroom window by my head. Great first night.
Good cup of Starbucks from our Tassimo to start the new Eddie Bauer relationship off right.
Our spot was somewhat wooded but it was only for two nights. No boondocking so we could try out the solar panels and inverter. A/C was used already here in Texas.
View from inside with the hatch open. Very nice. Although it is worth noting that the wind can get high enough that the edges of the screen will blow out of the guides on each side. They are easily tucked back in but if you have a bunch of hungry bugs on the screen when that happens they may be inside the trailer.
Outside view of the hatch open.
Side view showing the EB signage and the 80th anniversary AS sign. You can just see the wheel cladding around the wheel opening. The added ground clearance even though minor will come in handy when we eventually visit our close friend's farm.
We have a longer trip planned in three weeks so we will get to know the trailer better then I am sure.
Bryan
