Cool Brass fittings and weird stuff

Hello all,
We got this 325 at an estate sale. Got a pretty good deal on it. Got it back home, and I m going through everything . The gas tank sending unit has what looks like a bad cork gasket, from the factory. All the paint is gone on the top of the tank. This baby only has 5420 miles on it. Not bad for 30years old. Did you know, the brass door knobs on the bathroom door are really brass. How totally classy is that. Why would they cheap out and use partical board for the floors...
I got all the windows refused and for any of you that are looking for that gray plastic runner top and bottom of window in the channel, I got a place that is making me a prototype. If it works, is there any interest in these . I'm looking to get the price down to about 13 oo per rail. It's a little pricey, but if it cures my draggy windows, I'll do it. Anyone else interested? I'm thinking of making my own banana wraps 268 and 424 is a little steep. I'm thinking of making my own forms and mass produce them for the operators prone to catch corners on unknown things.. That's a winter project. The guy was I think a pipe smoker, not a bug,ant mosquito nothing, in this thing. I figure the smoke defogger it and kept all the varmints out. So I need a fridge, a front furnace, and a good cleaning before it can leave the driveway, and before my wife will sit down in it. She actually came inside and looked around a bit. That's good... So there's my summer. Everyday something gets done. I'm getting there. See ya all.
