Would love to see it when it gets the custom paint job.

AutoWeek Reviews the New Suburban - Towing an Airstream

Well, it looks like AutoWeek's Airstream has received its custom paint job. In this week's edition, they review the new Chevy Suburban, which was Autoweek's pick to tow their Airstream. Here's a link to the article:

I was in that trailer at RVIA. It was setup as a technology platform demonstrating how electronics like falt panel and WiFi could be incorporated into an Airstream. Very cool indeed.

Neat idea to get Airstream noticed.

Kids still push their noses against the SUV windows to get a good look at an Airstream on the road, and all is still right with the world.

Did you see the wrap job? Won't miss THAT going down the road. Personally, I liked the "Hello Kitty" one better (course, it helps that I'm surounded by girls in my life... daughters, wife, dog, cat, work....).

Hmmmm. Seems odd that Autoweek is pushing Airstream's "custom" work... according to Andy of Inland, they gave up the corporate world to third party (K)ustomizers.

I'd like a "conventional" 25ft CCD with front and rear wraps... now THAT would be cool!

Make mine silver

Was that A/S blue? I don't care for it.
'Course you could strip and polish it! Wait, I've already done that...
I assume that is plastic protection

Interesting....hopefully theirs wont get the dreaded form fill corrosion!

Computers manufactured by companies such as IBM, Compaq and millions of others are by far the most popular with about 70 million machines in use worldwide. Macintosh fans note that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans and that numbers alone do not denote a higher life form. -NY Times 11/91
