He seems to have done a nice job with it.
I wonder if the fiberglass bath room was so "shot" that he simply tiled over it. After all it's a nice designe to begin with.
Did the same thing my self on a hot tub on a boat (ok, it was like a mini pool on a very large yacht). Had a couple chinese in Singapore on it for a week after we had ground down the fiber glass and sealed it with "solvent-less" fiberglass four stage application.
Last I heard it was still holding up (5 years later).
