Watching the Nascar race at Pocono. There is a group of Airstreams circled up in the infield. Now that sounds like a fun rally.

It is called Airpocono. 29 rigs were there. We just left there this morning before the rains came.
Very fun rally and racing. Mike Helton president of NASCAR came by last night. He has two Airstreams. He would like us to do something similar at Daytona, Atlanta and Taledega. Might work on that for 2013, you interested?

We could be interested
We attended the first Pocono Rally and it was great. WE seriously considered it this year but it is a long way and we didn't have any other reason to go that direction so we regretfully passed on it.

That sounds like a lot of fun!!! Sure would make an interesting rally!

Joe, definetly interested for next years season. It was good to see Jeff Gordan win a race, rained out win - but a win is a win. In NASCAR it is all about track position and it looks like 5th was the place to be for Jeff when the incident happened in front of him and took out the first four cars.

It was an eventful race (watched it on the tube today) . There was a rain delay and then a big wreck part way through and then a down pour and the race ended early. Jeff Gordon was the winner. BUT - the big event was the lightening strike in the parking lot. Evidently there was a fatality and some injuries - hoping for the best for everyone...
