Airstream on the roof

in the chicago tribune today is an article about an architect who placed an airstream on the roof of his building. it can be viewed from the cta brown line. since i havent riden the train in many years, it is news to me.

I heard there had been a photo of it in the paper edition, but not online...

So I found one! From a friendly neighborhood blog. Looks like a ton of fun (well, half ton, maybe.)

(dream sequence) Hmm... if it were me, I'd sod the rest of the roof to create a whole lawn, or design my own mini golf course... a large stainless steel BBQ, and adapt the Airstream awning to roll straight down, so you could project movies onto it on hot summer nights.
