Airstream on NBC's Parenthood

Craig T Nelson's character, after finding out that he had atrial fibrulation, rolls into the driveway with a 75th Anniversary AS..... covered with stickers, pano windows in front... looks like it might be a 25-27 foot.

Anyone on Forums renting it out to production company?

I thought someone would have chimed in by now and identified the AS on the show. Looks custom with two air conditioners and window configuration. Perhaps a 30.

I hope they show the actual insides at some point. Looks like they plan to do some road trips in it.

yup, i saw it also - looks like a long one - 28-30?

too bad they didn't show any pics of the inside.

i wonder if it will stay part of the show or if this was a one-shot deal.

was wondering why there were so many bumper[?] stickers in so many places.

hope the owner will id self and share details with us.

If they show any inside pics, I bet that it will be on a sound stage, not the actual trailer. On the TV show Grimm the inside shots of the stars Airstream are on a sound stage and show the inside being much larger than the real thing.

We think it is the best show on TV.

No, that's the real interior. Don't you believe in fairy tales and magic?

Wait till you see the dungeon and the tower!

Parenthood is my favorite television show!! Having an airstream in it is like having frosting on an already great cake! I knew it was a cool show and this reinforces it!!

Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds.

Loved the part where he said "Lets go eat in the Airstream". He did not say "the trailer" he said "the Airstream". There is a difference ya know... To paraphrase a current commercial...It is the Egg McMuffin of Trailers!
And you would think that with all those stickers we would have seen an AIR sticker! (maybe his has not yet shown up...)

Sorry, one last jab about that. Mine are here now.

Maybe, or they could just slice it down the middle and open it up. Depends on what they are going for. If they want to show it as cramped and comedic they may just put some mini-cams in there. Saves building a special set when they may only shoot a few episodes in it. But then, Hollywood isn't know for thrift is it?

As many stickers as there were on that AS, I'm sure there was probably an AIR Forums sticker there somewhere...

that's what made me think it was an actual owned AS because seems like only an owner who is going to keep their AS would put that many stickers on it.... because I can see the production company renting a "clean" AS from someone then papering it with stickers . . . and taking it back and saying... gee we sure hope these things come off... lol
