Airstream news at RVIA

The big RVIA national trade show is in Louisville this week. This just in about Airstream plans via rvbasics.com ... Airstream Expands 2010 Model Lineup with new Flying Cloud - Sport - International - Victorinox Edition (alternate source but without pictures: rvbusiness.com )

  • Top to bottom - 30' Flying Cloud down to 16' Sport (we knew the latter; think I'd heard talk about 30' FC)
  • International Serenity series - in; Ocean Breeze - out (we've read posts about the latter at AIR)
  • Victorinox staying around (anybody own one of these yet?)
  • Airstream Interstate Sand Pearl decor
  • Class B moho coming late next spring
I'll drive any of the above models to your door in trade for an Uwe or Zep restored pre-60 Cruiser or Overlander...

too cool

That Serenity speaks to me. I liked the Ocean Breeze, but it was a little TOO over the top for me. I especially DIDN'T like the turned aluminum look walls and the grass in the door slides.

SIGH. Not gonna du it.......... (says she, heading out to buy a lottery ticket).

A 30' Flying Cloud? Now that sounds like music to my ears.

Sorry, this may be a really silly question.... What's with the window glass - looks like it is frosted in the pictures (in the OP link). What's up? Is it that new glass that goes from clear to privacy with a flip of a switch - that new-fangled liquid crystal stuff? That would be too cool!

The windows have been "blanked out" so you can't see the shots were probably taken inside a building, or somewhere not very scenic. Sorry, no "auto frosting" windows yet.
