Loved seeing the sweet familiar face of Zoe ("Sequoiacoast" entourage member) on the cover, practicing her whistle at Casini! What a great shot.
And then another bonus: one of Clintn's cartoons and a promise of more opportunity to enjoy his remarkable talents in future issues. Hooray!

Smile Yep, it's out!

The Fall 2007 issue was mailed about Aug 10. Usually the Californians get it last, so I guess the postal elves felt it was time to cut them a break, perhaps because we have a five-year-old Californian on the cover?

The mail service has been unpredictable in the past, but if you don't have your copy by Labor Day, call my associate Anita at 802-877-2900 or use our contact form and she'll arrange a replacement for you.

This issue includes these articles:

Inbox: Son of Vintage Thunder
Wally Byam’s French Bicycle Racer
Thanksgiving in the Airstream
Governor Dave, Airstreamer
Airstream Japan
eBay Watch: The Guessing Game
Project Vintage Lightning: Details
Wally Byam’s 1956 European Caravan
National Park Rustic and the CCC
Sonoran Desert
Innovations: 2008 Safari Sport
Interiors: Choosing Airstream Details
Great Ideas: A Shower of Ideas
Park Spotlight: Virginia Highland Haven
Tin Hut: Burning Man
The Panes, Fall Puzzle, and more!

Non-subscribers can find this issue in our web store, or at select Barnes & Noble, Borders, Hastings, and Books-A-Million stores. Enjoy!

Wow! I was just thinking about Airstream Life over the weekend and saying to myself that I wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next issue.

Looking forward to getting it and taking it to the beach over Labor Day!

Well I'd like to take credit for the beautiful Zoe, but alas she belongs to ajanib's Steven and Susan from Carmel (although I think they moved to Georgia...) At any rate I searched down that picture in the Casini Ranch Rally thread cause I thought it was at least taken in the reflection of my trailer.. but dangnabbit, that wasn't even mine. She did spend quite a bit of time at our site though, playing in our hammock!

I'm in California, though not really... too close to Oregon. I guess I have to wait a little longer for my mag.

Ah ha! That's why a thought she was yours! Thanks for clearing that up--I just remember lots of great and well-behaved kids running around, and making our 1st rally even more fun!

We got ours today!
Grandma is going to Borders right now to buy any more they may have.
Hopefully I'll get my hands on my autographed copy soon. It's making the rounds and I haven't read it yet!

lovin' it

Our Fall Airstream life arrived last week and we just finished reading it from cover to cover. Great Job Rich and crew!!!
We love how you blend the old with the new not to mention the information on upgrades and the article on Highland Haven is a special treat I keep a copy of Airstream life in our Airstream just to show non readers what they have been missing!!

Ps Melissa and I got to visit the Luhr family and Colin's shop on our New England trip. We had great times at each place!!! ( I think Melissa's favorite part of the trip was sitting on Matthew's bed )

Don-

If you need some extra copies let me know. We always keep a pile in the Safari to pass out as we travel.

I would love to have Donal sign my copy! I'll keep it in my camper so when I see you guys at an NEU rally I can ask him to do so. Such a cute picture of him too.
