Airstream and American Idol

Did anyone catch the show on Weds night?
The contestants were taking pictures in front of a vintage Airstream. Very cool!

Yep - that part of the show was the highlight of the night (I'm not a fan but momma is).

AI and the other reality shows aren't of interest but in this case, I'm sorry I missed it.

We noticed it right away. Looked like a beautiful vintage airstream...great backdrop for the photos.

I got the same eye roll from the wife, who really didn't appreciate it when I rewound and paused the Tivo to see it.

Looked like a 13 panel - they either removed or covered over the Airstream badging on the front.

Funny- my wife rolled her eyes too! Beauty of TIVO- just backed it up and checked it out. It was a 50's 13 panel door w/in door. Not sure if it was an actual photo shoot or just a staged one for video. Went to the website and no pics were posted.

Hmm, There is a reoccuring theme here guys.. wife's that roll their eyes. I guess it could be worse and we could have been looking at the girl singing..

If that was the case it would have been more than the rolling of eyes i assure you.

Well I guess I'm the first guy that was looking at the girl because my wife pointed the Airstream out to me. I told her that I wasn't paying attention. he...he...

Talk about a theme.... My wife was also one that rolled her eyes as I re-wound the Tivo to count the 13 panels. I'm sure glad that all of your wives are giving you the same grief that I got. I don't feel that bad anymore. My favorite part of the show is the beginning of the season when we get to see the train wrecks. People that can't sing, who believe they can. Now the show is people singing, not nearly as much fun to watch. The Airstream looked like part of a Hollywood set.
