For the table edge trim, try outwater.com. They have tons of metal extrusions and I'm sure you'll find exactly what you're looking for there.

John's overlay table is beautiful. Perhaps another possibility is to get the edging from Airstream that they are adding to the white table in the 2007 Ocean Breeze International.

I can't tell from the photo for sure but the table edging looks like it has a rippled finish to it. Outwater has that and many more. Here's a couple shots of the outwater stuff I used.

Brad that looks great! I love the flush wooden cabinetry and the door hardware. What a beautiful vintage unit. Was the edging difficult to turn and are there nails to install?

The edging is a 'T' moulding and wasn't so difficult to make the turn. Just need to remove the 'T' and then glue it in place. No nails needed.

Thanks Michael. Most of the work is done but always seems to be something else needing attention. Just the way I like it.

Thumbs up Great thread and very helpful posts!

Thanks all for this thread, we are planning a u-shaped dinette for our 96 excella (removing gaucho and side tables) and I would like to have that trim on the edge of the table. Great photos Carol and Brad. Lovely work John and Brad. Tim and Brad thanks for posting the info, and what a great job!! More for hubby's things to do list...
