Weight confusion on a 1978 International AS
We purchased a 1978 International AS, center bath, twin beds. According to the weight charts, it should have a dry weight of 4810 lbs. When we arrived to pick it up, a metal plate on the front of our AS said 7100 lbs. What is the towing weight of the trailer?

Does the plate say GVWR - 7100 LBS? (gross vehicle weight rating)

Not sure. It is 6 hours away, but I will call and ask. What is the difference between the dry weight and the GVWR?

Dry weight is the base weight of the AS without any options, water, or gear on board.
GVWR is the max that the trailer should weigh after you put all your STUFF in it.
