Radio question about wires and black box

`
1976 31' Sovereign, Does anyone have a pdf file of the factory service manual for my trailer? Here's where I'm at:

With the dysfunctional radio and the finger pinch table removed and laying proudly in the parking area, I see a gaggle of wires that look like they had something to do with the radio. What are they all for? What's the black box?

The radio I removed was just a cassette eating car radio like those in Best Buy. I'll keep the wires as shown with ends tied and in a nice plastic bag.

I ordered the service manual, maybe that'll tell me what this rat's nest of wires is for.

I don't think that is original. If you could get me a closer image or model number off of unit I might could help.

I'll go out there tomorrow and look at it again.

Thanks!

I don't know what the black box is but the wires coming out of the wall are stereo wires. Probably 6 if I recall. 4 speakers a power and a ground.

I looked at the black box again without removing it and there's no tags or names on it that I can see at this point. The box is associated with the radio. The box is screwed to the wall, not riveted. There was an after-market car radio installed when I got the trailer. The previous owner must have had issues with all the wires as well because he had two bookshelf speakers laying in front. It looks like he just used the power cable and the coach antenna and just used his two bookshelf speakers. I'll probably just remove the black box unit and retain it just in case. The coach speaker wires, power cable, and antenna all appear to be there, so adding a radio should be a pretty easy job.

There's never a time I'd want a set of remote radio speakers in the bedroom anyway.

Originaly there were (4) pair of speaker wires, (2) pair for the front and (2) pair for the bedroom. There was also a pair of wires from a switch in the bedroom that allowed you to turn the radio off without getting out of bed. If you decide to hook it back up, and you nee help, shoot me an email.
My 76 still had the original Motorola 8 Track and it still works.

Okay, that explains a lot. I'll look for the bedroom switch. I may just replace my poor quality replacement radio with a good quality after-market radio/CD player. I almost never listen to radio music unless I'm listening to old 50's rock on XM in my shop:-)

Thanks for the posts. I appreciate your kind offer. I'll likely be taking you up on some future help.

Gary
