New to us!!!

After a few months of searching, traveling we found our sweet Silver Bullet!!! 1975 Sovereign right under our noses. She is in great to excellent condition. The previous owner spent over 8 grand on the "guts". From axles to new ac... We got it for 6600.00. The interior is still vintage, but it was going to be put on a deer lease and rented out but never was. So all we have to do is make her our own inside. Cannot wait till we can take her trout fishing!!! Talked to the only other Airstream owner in our town today and he knew the unit. His comment was, "you know you stole this don'tcha!!!" Yes, we apparently did. He knew the history back to the 3rd owner. We are the 4th. Has original Owners Manual and all paperwork from original to all modifications/repairs. The previous owner even threw in his hitch, sway bar setup, an extra most of 600 buck expense. We have known the family since way back to the 70's His son used to give us underclassmen and women hell back in high school.
Amazing that after all these months of searching it was it our own back yard!!!

Congrats! It looks sharp! We found ours a half-hour from home, too!

Gotta polisher her up and do all the outside cleaning. My beautiful partner in life Joni will do the inside in 70's style. One thing I will insist on is a bead hanging between either the bed area or the bathroom, if she will allow it... It was kept in a barn for the last 10 years. The previous owner (who is 83) hitched up whenever he got a wild hair and took it to Billy Sims in Lubbock Texas for any repairs he wanted to do. We are so blessed to have found this one. Pull her behind a Ford F350 Diesel. Going home today cruised on at 75mph. Sweet pull, better than our company trailer! Taking pics and will post. Thanks for the welcome! Gonna take her over to Lower Mountain Fork River in Oklahoma for some trout fishing in a couple weeks to test before we go to Canada in early September.
