After a few months of searching, traveling we found our sweet Silver Bullet!!! 1975
Sovereign right under our noses. She is in great to excellent condition. The previous owner spent over 8 grand on the "guts". From axles to new ac... We got it for 6600.00. The interior is still vintage, but it was going to be put on a deer lease and rented out but never was. So all we have to do is make her our own inside. Cannot wait till we can take her trout fishing!!! Talked to the only other Airstream owner in our town today and he knew the unit. His comment was, "you know you stole this don'tcha!!!" Yes, we apparently did. He knew the history back to the 3rd owner. We are the 4th. Has original Owners Manual and all paperwork from original to all modifications/repairs. The previous owner even threw in his hitch, sway bar setup, an extra most of 600 buck expense. We have known the family since way back to the 70's His son used to give us underclassmen and women hell back in high school.
Amazing that after all these months of searching it was it our own back yard!!!
