GFI outlet location
anybody have an idea on where the gfi outlet would be located on a center bath 31'? All outlets work except, the refrigerator and outside outlet. Any ideas?

There isn't one. You probably have a burned off / loose wire or connection on one of the outlets that doesn't work.

I have been going crazy trying to find one. I was told all trailers build in 1978 would have one. Will try to sniff it out tomorrow.

The standard started in 1978, covering most 1979 models, and only included the bathroom outlets. If in doubt, check your breaker box. Most early GFCIs were mounted as part of the breaker for the area mandated by the code.

One would find a GFI outlet with reset/test button in the middle early in a circuit and everything downstream was then protected by that GFI. Everything upstream was NOT protected.

The trailers I've seen from the 80s to early 90s had a GFI circuit breaker to protect all outlets on one circuit, not an outlet in the circuit.

The GFI is actually located in the breaker panel behind the rearmost closet door.
If there is any dust or grease build up on the receptacle behind the mirror
the GFI may well trip while you are showering just from the dust/grease/crap becoming wet with moisture/water droplets and trip the GFI.

Now that explains why the breaker in that box tripped. Didn't know it was a GFI and didn't know why it tripped.

Gfi
In my M/H the GFI function is handled by a breaker in the box but some PO replaced it with a standard breaker. They are expensive... cost me about $75 to replace.

From the attached schematic you can follow this circuit...if not modified, the circuit supplies the bedroom, bathroom, outside receptacle, and the univolt.
Any problem with any of these receptacles could cause the GFI to trip.
I've been into most of the electrical devices on the '78 at one time or another...mostly during the rebuild. The problem is there are so many brain farts covering the important stuff I need a memory refresh to retrieve what the current page item is referring to.

93 29' Excella, center bathroom, my outside outlet quit along with the charging system. The GFI plug-in located in the bathroom was tripped. Reset the button and everything is back on. Had an extension cord plugged in outside and it didn't like the snow evidently. Cheers
