Just run the tank empty by using the pump. You need to flush your holding tanks anyway.

Between the tires, on the roadside/drivers side of the trailer. It is on the side of the tank facing outward..........a typically white valve..........IT BREAKS OFF SO EASY it is pathetic...........Be careful............God bless.......Dennis

It is hard to find. Almost between the wheels, on the side of the pan that is under the tank, near the wheels. It does show, but you got to be lying down with your head under the trailer just a little to find it. It is only 6" or so from the wheels. Hard to reach too. 1/2 turn opens it.

Not On a 1977 Sovereign
I"m pretty sure the 1977 Sovereign 31' did not have a freshwater drain valve. Neither my 1976 Sovereign nor my 1976 Safari had one.
Dwightdi is correct.

As I posted before: you simply run the tank dry with your water pump and in the process you flush both your black water and gray water tanks. There is a little remaining in the tank and for that you pour in a quart or so of antifreeze. It has worked for me for 17 years of cold Illinois winters.

On my 73 Safari the low drains for the lines and the freshwater drain are under the sink on the street side. Total 3 drains near the waterpump

The fresh water tank is below the floor and the drains under the sink is well above the tank, so they can not possibly drain the fresh water tank, unless you turn the trailer over. Those drains only drain the fresh water pump and the lines that are above the floor.

The drains in mine are very low. I have to reach far down. My tank has drained all the way and have had no problems with freezing . I did have a line freeze on me in the bathroom one year when I thought I had a little time. I got to the lake and turned the waterpump on and I heard the water spraying. But I have never had any issues with draining the tank in 10 years.

Drain
On my 78, there is no drain per say, but there is a cover that can be removed on the street side that once removed exposes a 1 1/2” fitting with a plug that can be moved to drain the tank. Pain to get to, but it is a drain. Easier to pump it out.

Thee is no tank drain on a 1976 Sovereign International. I know, as I had one!! Pump tank till no water comes out, disconnect pump from inlet side and pump anti freeze throught the system. The little bit of water remaining in the tank will freeze and nothing gets hurt. Where I live we see -40 degrees an a regular basis. Never had a single problem in over 10 years I owned it.
