24' Sovereign?

I am looking for a TT and ran across this but I need some expert info please

I saw an add for a 1974 24' Sovereign. I cannot find any info on that length. Did they make one does the guy not know how to measure? It has new Upolstry and curtains, al origional appliances, rear bath, and the awning needs to be reattached. He is asking $4K

Does that sound reasonable?

The price is in range but in 1974 a Sovereign was a 31' a 24' did not exist. Airstream did odd footages not even. In 1974 there was a 23' Safari or a 25' Tradewind.

On one that old check out that everything works and still expect of fix more than a few things. Check out the volunteer inspector list and see if anyone is in your area to help you check it out. Another common mistake is to measure the overall length of the body, Airstream includes the hitch in the overall so you have to add 3' more.

Thanks a lot. That is what I thought. I will keep looking. I am wanting about a 25 foot trailer. I could pull the 31 but it limits me in other areas.
