Tow Vehicle Too Small???

The salesman said it was a 6 liter engine. I just didn't understand that it was the size of the entire engine....and transmission.

On a serious note, after way too many months, she is ready to roll! Thanks to all that post information on the forum. Could not have done 99.9% of the work on this beast without the help.

That mini will handle the 34 foot Airstream just fine.

Cool Mini! Right hand drive, flared wheel weels with fat tires, mmMMmm...

Yeah, if that's a deisel one, you could definitely tow a 34-footer.

Talking I'll Race you

It only has 3 cylinders, so I'll need a head start.

Hi, I think you missed it when the salesman told you the engine size is .6 liter. [Point six]

Will that tow the queen mary, what size weight distribution bars do you use, and your running gear will need to be rebalanced.

"6 liters" = the size of the passenger compartment; not the engine!

When you get where you are going, you can park the Mini inside to keep it nice.

I never though of that. I wonder if a Pan American would carry our Smart. It probably doesn't out weigh a ATV by much.
Some one asked about weight distribution bars. We use a ProPride hitch. You can see in the photo that the WD bars keep the rear end up fine.

Ken

Exclamation Small vehicle Predators

One thing I forgot to mention. If you use a Small TV, you MUST be on the lookout for large predators.

The Trailer in the picture, looks like the door is on the left. Is that how they make them for Great Britain and other countries where the left side is the road side?
I also like the TV roof contoured to match a surfboard.

Ken

Yes, that's a Euro model.
And I thought the "6 Liters" was the size of the fuel tank...

off topic....
I drove a good friends Brabus Smart with a throttle chip and suspension kit. What an absolute blast! But, for the 30k he spent on it - I'd opt for a Ducati.

Love it! Maybe a roof mounted air wing will help the Mini get air up over the AS....good looking Mini and AS!
