The miseries of the Roulotte Alu.

Arrived in France, the fridge did not work anymore.
It worked about two hours. Then it went into fault function.
Flame lights up. Burn three seconds. And stop system.




I suspected the thermocouple.




I ordered this piece in USA.
Unknown in Europe. We feel alone here with an Airstream.

How complicated and price of the piece compared to shipping, I took two.




Thermocouple changed. And... It did not work better !

Great moment of distress ...

According to me there was only the electronic card that could be defective.

Investigations ...

The fridge is a Dometic RM2612.
For this model I found three different cards.
I managed to identify mine through views on forums.
It has been found is no longer available.
Also, I found a replacement reference.

I disconnected the gas pipe. Regulator side end and heating.
And sent pressurized air.
With that it worked again.

Great !

Now it's sweet in the Roulotte.

The weather can go crazy.
