Cool Excella v. Sovereign

Could somebody explain the primary differences between the Soveriegn and Excella model trailers. We have an '88 Excella 29' that is very, very nice-in fact we have looked at newer trailers and turned them down. Ours has all awnings, polarshields, rock guards, two Fantastic fans etc.etc. Thanks for your information.

"Excella" was an upgrade from Sovereign. You got solid wood vs. plastic tambour, wood veneer rather than vinyl paper over plywood, plusher carpets, better draperies, better uphostery, some lighting upgrades, fabric and wood valences, and probably some things I am forgetting. There may also have been some items like a water filter, and possibly 40 lb vs. 30 lb. propane tanks. I believe alloy wheels were also standard with Excella.

I am nearly certain that only the main awning was standard .

I can't blame you for not being excited about the newer coaches. Other than being six inches wider, they are no nicer.
