88 Excella 25 - What are these switches?

Wife and I bought an 88 Excella 25 last month. The dealer I bought it from explained some functions but I can't remember if they told me what these switches do.

The first one is next to the furnace thermostat.

The other is in the bathroom next to the pump switch.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Don't know about the one next to the furnace. My 89 doesn't have that one. The other is your hot water heater (HWH). The light should come on and then go off. If it comes back on within a few seconds, your HWH failed to light. Don't turn the HWH on unless you have water in the tank.
