Very nice! I've never seen that fuse panel before; do you have link of where to purchase?

In our remodel I ended up moving all the 12v wiring from that front panel area to the bedroom area to be closer to the 120v breaker box and so I could put a couch where the old panel was located.

Some of the most recent tasks.

Removing some of the few remaining interior panels, peeling vinyl off then removing the glue.

Not a fun process

OH and before i list this week's activities last week i replaced my 7.5AH test battery with a new Duracell 75AH and i haven't even been able to get it below 100% 12.6v

Only have 3 Fantastic fans and a few LEDS so not very much draw, my 100w panel is more than enough for this right now.

Another weekend has gone by and more has been done!

Sealed the frame to rear C channel connection. then secured it. should have done this a while ago.

Got the door handle and lock cleaned up and riveted back on. Ended up buying a new lock core and reusing internal lock components.

Removed the over the door light housing, replaced the rusted light bulb socket with a different one i had. Refinished the exterior, and cleaned, primed and painted the interior of the housing white to better reflect light.

Got my 3 on/off switches wired up and working.

Finished up some wiring and insulation for final prep before the interior skin goes back on.

Also cleaned up and got the Airstream name plate & put back on. Did some sanding and repainted the back of the plate black to prevent corrosion.

whew

Nice work! I think of myself as being fairly handy but these DIY rebuild threads are really impressive and appear to be above my pay grade.

Cheers,
John

You're making great progress! What are you using to strip and clean the interior panels?

Jasco paint and epoxy remover to get the vinyl to bubble up and xylol to remove the left over adhesive. Both very nasty stuff you have to take care to protect yourself. But I wouldn't recommend anything else for the task. It's a difficult dirty time consuming process

Just plugging away here, couple more panels put back in. All but one large panel has had the vinyl removed.

AC 30amp receptacle, distribution box, breakers, and relay switch arrived. Now how do I wire that up again LOL

Also drawing up kitchen designs,

Florida now has officially become hell for the summer with Temps reaching their peak of 96+ (in the trailer) by 11am

Wish i had a awning! Curse who ever decided to remove the one off my trailer!

Thinking of getting a trailer Shelter covering.

Anyway... Got the 30amp Receptical installed, took a while to make sure it was level but not difficult at all. Still got to wire it up.

Started treating the wood that i will be using for the kitchen and wood wall. Maybe this weekend i will have most of the kitchen frame complete.
