Having been an owner of a '77 Excella 500, I'd say yes concerning the manual.

Check the vendor section and you will find that Helen Davis from Secretarial Services provides xeroxed copies of owners manuals and service manuals for the '77. It includes different size models and some material on Excellas. Most of the Land Yacht/Sovereign material applies to the Excellas.

You can also find original service manuals for sale on ebay from time to time as well as copies from another source. Good luck.

To anyone who wants the Owners and Maintenance Manuals for a 1978 Excella 500, I have posted them on my website at:
1978 Airstream Excella 500 Manuals

They are in PDF format and the Maintenance manuals are listed by chapter. That way the pdf pages correspond to the chapter page number.
