Is this a trick question?

Looks like a Safari Sport 22.
But, I guessing that's what everyone will guess...I guess.

Looks a little different than the Safari Sport on Airstream website.

After receiving a lot of feedback from current customers and potential new Airstream owners we added a 2nd window on the curbside and the European stainless steel rock guards on the front. The window kit and rock guards are available from the Airstream parts department.

The 2nd window makes interior feel more spacious.

I was in a 22' Sport last weekend at an RV show. I thought that long wall was pretty boring. This is nice!

You added the window at the dealership? Or were able to order it that way?

Good thinking Patrick!

It looks great.
Now, for the $64 question: What does this do to the weight of the unit? I remember the 22 being kind of close to maximum weight as-built, without the guards and extra windows.

We added the window kit at our dealership. Airstream hasn’t confirmed that this would be a running line change yes. If so they were looking to add a smaller 2nd window. We decided that the larger window was the best choice and is more proportional on the inside and outside of the trailer.

My Service Depratment is working on the weight figures. We originally caculated it to be 55 lbs. additional weight.

I think this size window is perfect! It looks great, Patrick! And really opens the inside up a lot.

Nice work!

And it's not in the way of the door opening? Way to go!

Too bad it had to be a Hehr window! I know, the weight thing. or is it the cost thing? (Actually, it wouldn't have looked right if it didn't match the style of the other windows, but I really hate the Hehr windows in our 30' Safari!)

Better than original -- work looks first class -- congrats.

Unsolicited opinion from a two time Colonial (satisfied) customer.

very nice upgrade and what a difference inside!

what these units really need are a wall of jalousie windows along that side...

retro cool and better ventilation, even in the winter...

? so i wonder, how well are these models selling?

i suspect that without some of the post production tweaks and functional improvements....

the may not be moving well, except it congested urban areas...

also moving the door to the front section would be nice....

entry AT the toilet and lav isn't the best design...

cheers

Obviously you haven't sampled my 3 mile island chili...It's not an entry, but a rapid exit...
