Thanks for the info on Bates. That agrees with everything else I've read on this forum about them. I like the Mercedes from a Yugo dealer illustration!

There is another Airstream dealer in Alachua, JD Sanders. I have never had any work done there, but buy parts from them.

Tampa Bay Area Repairs

I had a 34' Excella for 14 years that was serviced by Dean & Pam at RV Renovators in Pinellas Park. They always did excellant work and gave me the 'right' price. They service all kinds of RVs, but Dean used to be an Airstream guy at a dealer in the area-----not Bates.
