Repair shop recommendations in Arizona?

Got any good shops hopefully in metro Phoenix? I may wimp out on fixing the fresh water tank myself....

In Texas maybe

If your heading/leaking through the Dallas area there's a good AS repair station call North Dallas Airstream Repair. Listed on the AS site under dealers although they only service. Have had stuff done there and am impressed. Sorry I can't help on Phoenix

You might try Qasis rv in Tucson. They have been an Airstream dealer for many years, and have been very reliable for me. There Web site is www.oasisrv.com or call 1-800-658-5863 ask for Jay. Harry in Flagstaff

Thanks, Harry! I'll give them a call. The service manager at Dillon's in Mesa doesn't seem to know one end of an Airstream from the other.

Your quotation: Jim Eliott.

Double bonus points: What's the connection on mine?

Thumbs down Dillons

I have to second the non recomendation of Dillons I have had verry few dealings with them and want to keep it that way. They sell new ones but it is not somthing they are verry dedicated to just a small corner of the lot.

Sorry Don I have no idea. I hope Oasis can help you at least to steer in the right direction. They are the only Airstream dealer in Arizona, dealing entirely in sales and service of airstreams. I give them my business because they are good , but damn I hate the prices. If you have a vintage Airstream you pay to keep it up. Harry

Oasis may be a bit high on the dollars, but at least they do it right. Better than some others in Az. Consider the cost of doing it wrong...

Talking Repair Shop Arizona

Don- Why not drive up here to Prescott, AZ and all of us AZ owners can converge! I will bet that all of our combined knowledge and expertise could get the job done.

Another choice is Al's RV on W. Bell Rd. and 51st Ave. They're not strictly Airstreams but they do a great job and are reasonable. Phone is 602.938.4990, ask for Walt. I've had some work done there. They also have a facility in ShowLow.

Also on Bell Road is Bell Road RV. I've had good service there. They did change hands recently, so that might have changed, but there are still a lot of the same people.
