Thanks John.
I was afraid that shirt would give me away.
From left to right, Alberto aka Speedy. Was raised by Airstream in Santa Fe Springs many years ago. He got his nickname from Airstream because he could build a front or rear shell for a
1966 Airstream in one (1) hour. He has slowed down a little, but his craftsmanship is as good as ever.
Next is Chris. She is our primary Customer service girl. Knowledgeable and loves to help our customers.
Center, is me. Still hanging in there with no desire to slow down or quit. Love Hawaiian shirts.
Right of center. Greg. Our Project and Service Manager. His background and expertise are invalueable from designing major changes to the coaches, or just simple modifications. His participation with the design of new parts, modification of parts, design of parts kits, manufacturing of parts, and his willingness to assist our on site or telephone customers is his daily cup of tea.
Far right. Denise, my daughter. Her assistance in whatever needs to be done, be it answer phones, helping customers, bookeeping, packaging shipouts, ordering and receipt of parts and supplies, assembling of kits as well as assisting in the manufacture of some parts, and yes, whatever help Dad may need.
Not Pictured. Michelle. Her job is basically behind the scenes, but also includes customer service and shipouts, bookeeping and administrative assistant.
We service Airstream owners around the planet, fulfilling their parts needs, answering their service questions, but also being the # 1 Airstream parts dealer for the year 2006, gives our team great pride in what they do, everyday.
Often imitated, but rarely duplicated, is a great compliment to all of us.
We graded and paved the way for the availability of parts for vintage Airstreams, which has significantly made it easier for those that have chosen to keep the vintage program alive and well.
We fully take credit for the popularity of the vintage rebuilding programs, and will continue to strive for greater things in the future
Airstream has publically recognized our long term efforts many times, towards the vintage as well as current programs.
We are fully involved with Safe-T-Tow project that has some patent pending changes included. This device, automatically applies pulsed braking, to electric or disc brakes, when it senses loss of control. It also warns you of instability, that can be caused by wind gusts, cross winds, or loss of approximately 15 psi or more of air in one tire on a tandem or tri-axle rig. If you keep the tow vehicle and trailer on the dry pavement, you literally cannot lose control of the trailer. It has been under test, for over 30 years.
More soon.
