They have done my work...

Randy at north dallas has done my work for almost two years that I have had my unit. (bought new). Something worth mentioning is they no longer sell new Airstreams so there only focus and profit center is repair work, some dealers like the one here in Houston dont really care about service, just selling new ones.

Randy has done some skin work and some fantastic fans installs for me along with a bunch of jots and tittles that come with a new unit. I have seen some of the units they are working on and think they do great work generally. I cant say much about David Tidmore in Weatherford as he does not seem to cater to those who do not buy a trailer from him (my experience). I know that David is an avid Airstreamer and does know the right way things should be done.

Ol' Randy will take care of you....

Thanks for the replies. I made an appointment for NDRV for next week and will post my experiences with them.

North Dallas RV did some simple brake work for me ... It was less than $100, but Randy still took the time to walk me through his entire shop and show me and my wife everything they're working on. Very friendly and helpful.

When I tried to get an appointment at Roger Williams, I was told several times that they had a four-month waiting list to even look at my trailer. Randy and crew had it done in a day, and only charged me for one hour of labor (when it actually took about four) -- something that's almost unheard of nowadays.

Glad to hear this as I'm sure to be back in Dallas at some point. The best RV Park for the metro area (convenience) is Sandy Lake, practically across the freeway from NDRV.

Hey Guys and Gals:

All the posts on North Dallas RV are very dated. Has any body done recent work and if so, is the work still as good as the old posts (but a couple) indicate?

We attempted to have North Dallas work on our AS but they couldn't promise to have the work done in 3 months after initially saying they could do it within this time frame. Since we had a camping trip planned we took it to another RV shop.

I've been using them exclusively for 7 years and most recently was there in the fall. They were very busy so I consider that an indication of popularity.

They packed my wheel bearings and installed a Maxim skylight. I love the skylight so far. It was the first one they had ever installed and really seemed glad to take on that project. I was pleased with the work and the prices were fair.

I have always been pleased with Randy and have always felt I was treated fairly. I don't think their work rivals the factory but I do think it is very good.

I've recently used them. Quality people top to bottom. Randy is honest and clear spoken. I'd trust his advice like a father.
