Available at Barnes & Noble

There were three copies at the Barnes & Noble Book Store in downtown Minneapolis. I would assume they are out there. This downtown store has a meager selection of transportation books compared to the suburban stores. I guess they found out most of the suited dress shirt and tie execs working downtown don't get grease under their fingernails.

I was tempted to buy it but then I do need some things on my Christmas list for the family to mull over for me other than socks, shirts and sweaters. I'm running out of things. I finally got my BB gun two years ago.

Another last minute reminder. Good thing I got up early. 8:30 AM is Eastern. Here in the Midwest it is 7:30 AM on NBC's Today Show.

The spot was quite nice. Dicky's trailer and truck looked great along with the Quicksilver.

I just ordered it from Amazon, I ordered another book I wanted as well, got free shipping. I was tempted by the Ebay auction from China, $15 shipping, what a deal!

Post After looking into our vendor policies...

It looks like you can advertise your book in our classified section. That way, the guy that lives 500 miles away from a bookstore, and doesn't trust Amazon, can buy a book direct from you. Every little bit helps.

Just in time

My book order was at the door when I got home from work yesterday, 6 days, not bad. Ordered from Amazon. I also ordered "Airstram, the history of the land yacht". Both look like great books! Just in time for my trip tomorrow to the San Juan River for 5 days of fly fishing. No, I am not bringing the Airstream, I am on the bus with 40+ members of my fly fishing club.

Decisions, decisions...

The one I ordered just arrived yesterday....but, I was planning on giving it to my husband for Christmas. Is it fair to read it from cover to cover before he opens it as his gift? Or, should I just give it up and order a second copy for him?

Got mine. It's a beautiful book. The only thing missing is the beautiful Argosy trailers some of us love so much. That was a little disappointing. After all Argosy is a very big part of Airstream living in our family. Maybe someone can publish an Argosy Living book with just our little fellows. I'm giving it to my husband for Christmas also. I know he'll love it as much as I did.

I enjoyed the book very much. It is always neat to see what other people are doing with their silver passions. Well worth two good evenings with a hot mug of tea, a fat cat on my lap, and pleasant dreams at night. Thanks

All this fuss has pushed me to go ahead and get the book. Is it cheaper to get it form Amazon, or just go to my local Barnes and Noble.

Yep, that's where I found it last night at the new one that opened a couple of miles from my house. I bought my copy and it is very nice. I love the intro story.

BTW, since it is a new book, Barnes & Noble is selling it for 20% off.
