NEW 2007 International 23D Signature Series CCD 23'

Here is a link to the NEW 23D International Signature Series CCD that I mentioned in another thread last month.

When you view the photos, you will notice that is resembles the extremely popular 23' Safari SE four sleeper floor plan, but allows sleeping for the occasional 5th or 6th sleeper.

from the best dealer on the planet, or so everyone says... and i'd probably agree...

personal prefrences...

i'd rather have a rear door, more "retro looking"
looks like no freezer? probably does, but i did'nt read about it (so kevin).
hate the interior colors, and this coming from a guy whos primary colors are red, orange, yellow.
the wood is to dark brown. way to dark.
can only make the bed from one side. try it. poor design. girls hate it, boys don't care.
try using the bathroom, if your overweight or 6' tall or above... (ah... sitting down)
and if the 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th person gets up in the middle of the nite to pee, they wake up the folks in the bed... repeatedly, not good.
the thermostat is bright white on a really dark wood surface, why not black, like all the switch covers? like of attention to detail??? perfect when decorationg.
fresh water tank, holding tanks to small...

where does all this friendly personal prefrence come from, i actually take my 'stream out every couple of weeks and use it... A LOT. like all over AND i see all the other models while doing it, while camping... so i'm just comparing out loud, in my small brain...

and i'd prefer that my 'stream - sleep 4, feed 6, party 8, in style, class and comfort.

other than that, i'm searching for a 2007 25' international signature series CCD, FB, RD, Center Bath, w/ Dual Pan. Windows...

i know it's all personal prefrences.... I REALIZE IT.

AND

everybody on this forum has an opinion... a BIG one.

Thanks!

glad you like it,

the only thing that could be better, would be to add carpet, say in half the unit, so you could carry a vacuum around w/ you. while not getting mud, sand and debris all over, while not camping, say w/ your dog(s), which no one ever brings...

just curious, who's going to be sleeping in the bed at nite (bathroom patrol, waking up the bed people); and making it (the bed) the next morning (the maid). love a report on that...

brite and cheery,

kevin

Hey Kev!
Superbowl, what super bowl?

By Super Bowl, do you mean the round stainless steel sink?
or are you referring to a new style toilet bowl?

Did I miss the photo of this "Super bowl, I didn't see and photos of it on the Colonial Airstream website

How about a report on that round "Super bowl" kitchen sink?

Does anyone have one, and care to comment on it?

Yes, I like this model's superbowl. (You're talking about the kitchen sink, no?) I also like the layout. If I were thinking of trading my Bambi for a bigger size, I would consider this one.

I can't tell in the pictures what kind of laminate it has on the interior walls and cupboards. It doesn't look woodgrain, but it does look brown. Anybody know what that is? I prefer the light oak that I have in my '06 Safari SE. The dark color looks like it's made to hide mildew.

I've never been accused of being a forward looking sort. My peripheral vision and this odd habit I have of looking around as if my head were on a swivel have brought me to where I am today. Right here on this forum. Hijacking this thread. While the Super Bowl introduces us to some fine new commercials. So I guess what I'm trying to say here in a poorly worded response to your BIG opinion on mirrors is that I appreciate a well-installed, strategically placed mirror. Not in a vain sort of way though. Thank you sir for being kind enough respect my position in this regard. Enjoy the 1/2 time show.

did you like the jacket prince was wearing during the half time show? it was a nice color. probably nicer than the new interior colors of the AS line.

but, thats just me.

Paprika, saffron, it's all good. I'm not sure I agree with the mothership on how to best place the aforementioned colors however. Kind of a too much of a good thing can be a bad thing sort of thing. (e.g. salt, alcohol, sleep, etc.)

I prefer to march to a more rebellious drummer when it comes to color choices. www.pbase.com/airstreamlife

As far as HRH Prince is concerned, I appreciated what he was trying to do with his choice of clothing. He was paying homage to the local folk by wearing the colors of the host team Miami Dolphins. The shirt/jacket combo was well done in my humble opinion. And that's just me kind sir.

mr. blue,

i like your interior color choices. actually i've never seen the interior of a funny airstram B4 and it looks well done. but what do i know, i'm more into the vintage stuff.

i thought prince was overly accomadating. still if he had just added smile pockets to his jacket, i'd be all about it. i felt bad for prince and the fans however, in regards to the rain; didn't look like fun at all. on the other hand, prince, i'm sure was properly compensated, so i guess it comes down to just the fans i feel bad for.

Mr. k.

I thank you for those kind words. The interior has actually been modified somewhat since those pictures were taken. Did you happen to catch the color of the exterior of my funny Airstream? The stickers have been removed to protect the innocent.

I, too, am a fan of things vintage. Especially when it comes to Airstreams. But colors aside, I recognize in you an aficionado of interior design. I was hoping that the powers that be could have worked a little more with the now defunct "bunkhouse" double bedroom concept. Perhaps squeezing it into a slightly smaller trailer. Have you had occasion to peruse one of these yet?

Sincerely,

mb

mr. blue,

nothing much gets by me.

i do however like to jab. drives the hit counters on the threads crazy, where normaly they'd sit idle, say on superbowl sunday.

however, i'm going to point out an oft overlooked position here on the forums.

i'm about to hit 500 big ones.

while i enjoy the banter, i'm going to stop.

i'm going to save myself for marriage.

you may, if you like, alert the media.

i'd even supply my rally schedule for said group of ink slingers.

sincerely,

kevin

ps i'll be back.

k.
