Can you explain what "specifically meant for 115V RV applications" means?
Thanks.

Thanks for the question, SeaLevel.
The original EasyStart 364 (ASY-364-X36-IP) is designed for the very harsh marine environment for applications into either 115V/60Hz or 220-240V/50-60Hz A/C units. Almost all RV rooftop A/Cs in the USA & Canada are 115V/60Hz. So, since some of the internal electronics required to support 240V/50-60Hz are quite substantial, and since they add unnecessary cost to the EasyStart for customers who only intend to use it in a 115V application, we created a lower-cost variant meant to support only 115V under part number ASY-364-X20-IP. In this way, you don't have to pay for electronics you don't need. Our intention over the next few months is to continue with some redesigns to bring the cost of this variant down even further, without compromising quality or durability in the 115V environment.
Of course, if you prefer the 115V-230V design, you can still purchase it under ASY-364-X36-IP for its original price. Hope this helps.

Thanks. That makes sense. By the way, I was able to correct the flag terminal problem that I PM'd you about, and I got the EasyStart installed this past weekend. I went through the 5 start ups, which seemed to work fine, but I won't be able to do any additional testing until this coming weekend. I'm assuming since it started up 5 times, I must have gotten everything connected properly!

Is the coupon still available? Perhaps a 4th of July sale?

Absolutely! The coupon discussed in post #40 of this thread is still active and will stay in effect at least through the summer. Micro-Air will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, July 3rd and 4th. Happy Independence Day!

It's real easy DIY job, great instructions on the. Forums. I have seen folks post it costs around $200-$250 to have someone install it.

That's correct. And you saved $9 over what everyone paid with the $50 coupon! That's because when we introduced the new website on May 9th, we dropped the price of the EasyStart 364 by $19, and dropped the coupon by only $10, so you saved a net of $9.

Also correct. The EasyStart 366 is already half the price of the EasyStart 364, and it is much more cost constrained. We therefore cannot afford to discount it any further at this time.

Are you and Lew going to be offering a Special on the unit and install at the International?

All the folks here gave me the confidence to do this add. The commentary, photos and wiring diagram were all spot on. I was able to quickly assess the wires that were to be affected. Electrical box was tight to work in but just go slow and careful to assess the situation. As others experienced, about an hour of time. After doing mine, I'm certain I could cut that time in half if I were to do a second install.
I do carry a Honda 3000is. Didn't need the mod for this but I had other considerations. I travel with a wife and two teenaged daughters. They expect hot water, AC, a cold beverage, and the use of their hair dry. I'm trying to educate them on when to shift electric loads to gas or off so we don't trip breakers. The Micro-Air EasyStart I hope helps us on that startup load draw.

Yes! That is the plan. Free installation is the primary offering. We'll likely be running around with the ladder quite a bit (!), while trying to staff our booths at the same time. Should be fun

I had my dealer install ours. I forget what he charged, but it wasn't more than an hour or two. I also provided them with all of Matteo's instructions so they knew exactly what to do. Turned out fine, works great.

Tchotchkes!
I'll be shipping ahead of us to Escanaba almost 100 lbs of free stuff (and my tools). Lew will be hauling his trailer from his summer Oregon business location. Please stop by and take some of the free goodies off our hands so I don't have to ship it all back again!
