While the current models aren't made of "raw" (unpainted) aluminum as the early models were, the Alaskan Camper is an example of a telescoping truck camper that shares some stylistic features of the Airstream - - especially those from the '53 to '69 era. A quick search of the web didn't turn anything up with photos of the earlier style Alaskan Campers, but you can see the current models at:

The Alaskan didn't have all of the elegant curves of the Avion truck campers, but they had more curvature than the typical campers of the era.
