I don't mean to stir up an old thread here but I thought I would update this thread with some facts I learned directly from Bob Wheeler about this motorcycle.

While the bike's value may be $300,000 in the market, neither Bob or Airstream paid that for the bike. They bartered a 34' Airstream with Jesse who wanted to get his wife, Sandra Bullock, a gift. Sounds, to me, like a great deal all around.

And, the bike is going to be used in conjunction with Thor's participation in the prostate cancer awareness campaign. It's not a stretch to say that the attention grabbing shine of the bike is going to save some lives.

Again, not to stir anything up, I just think clarifying things when they come up is good for all of us.

Just saw the West Coast Custom Airstream bike cross the auction block at Barrett-Jackson. It sold for $60,000.

I wonder who owned it? Maybe Airstream needed to sell it since they are not doing so good these days
