Tammy, Have I thanked you lately? I love the job you did for me and I handed out all of your cards at the Cherry Blossom Rally. You do great work.

You did simply by doing my job. When someone exceeds my expectations I feel obligated to promote them. You made it so easy from start to finish. I will send you some photos in a few weeks. I have Anna a bit torn up doing all those little detail projects and will be taking a new portfolio of the winter phase one restoration/ renovation. I will be sure to include some detailed shots of your work so you can have them for your portfolio.
I was wondering if you could do a shower curtain? I feel I can layout a template that will be a perfect fit. I have used a cotton curtain before in an apartment . It worked great and was totally eco friendly. Maybe there is a quick dry material that could work. The trailer might not be so good due to it not really drying out. What do you think Tammy? Is this something you might be able to do? I think there are a lot owner in my era that need these.

I will make it tomorrow. It should fit 58- 63.... Look for it to come in the mail next week along with the tabs needed for my track. Think about what material can be used. I do not believe you can sow vinyl.

Nylon is probably best for repelling water. Also saw where 100% polyester is used for shower curtains.

A good friend of mine made a liner out of the vinyl that household shower curtains are made from. Then, she hand stitched the velcro to the vinyl, put matching velcro on the decorative fabric curtain, and sewed the tabs that fit the particular AS track onto the fabric curtain as well. The finished product looked great. JAD (Just an Idea)

Minuet 6.7 Argosy

My little trailer has a little shower curtain that has large snaps on the side wall and curtain and that fits it tight to the wall while in use. It has a little 3" fabric hold back tab that snaps it up close to that straight wall while traveling down the road...after it is dry of course.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at a website today at oilcloth. It says it is waterproof. It comes in a lot of different colors and designs. I think Im going to make mine out it and see how it works. If it does, I may add shower curtains to my list of things to make! Well, if they are fairly easy to make that is.
Lou, mine has snaps on the wall also. Havent gotten to try it out yet, does it keep the water in?

water in?

LOL! Keeping the water in that teenie weenie shower is impossible!!! It is sooo small that you can hardly wiggle. The bottom edge seems to be the problem area for keeping the water in though. We don't use the shower because it is just too small. Military showers are just not enjoyable. So we usually find campgrounds that have a showerhouse and save the mess! Ours has become a good storage area. Good luck with your project!!

Thanks Lou. Ours may very well end up being storage also. IMHO, these showers were not designed very well. They are right in a curve and if you are taller than 5', which most people are, it makes it very difficult. I have found it to be easier to sit in the tub and use the wand to wash my hair, and shower.
I am like you, I would rather find a campground with showers I can stand in and not have to turn the water off and on so it doesnt get cold!

shower

It makes a great storage space for the "stuff" we take to the shower! I store flip flops, towels, beachbag w/soaps etc. in there. Plus a 5 gal. bucket with a seat type lid. The bucket becomes a "shower seat" if you have to use the little space. I am getting too old to sit in the shower and then try to get up again! I store bleach and things that are toxic inside the 5 gal. bucket. It has come in handy for lots of stuff.
