Cool Vintage Airstream Accessory!!

Hi!!

Been working on a pretty hip stainless steel door guard for vintage Airstreams. They are now available...
There is one on ebay and I invite you to take a look.

David, I saw that last night - way cool! Will you be selling them straight out, or just on eBay?

Hi!

Well, I wanted to put a few on ebay first, and then will sell them outright on my website.
I would also like to offer them for resale to two other websites. But since I have not contacted them, I shouldn't mention them.

Thanks for the kind words. It's great to read that you liked it. I had a lot of fun with the design.
They are lasered from 16ga stainless. And then the top and bottom edges are rolled.

Regards
David W.

Nice looking work, David!!

Any chance you are designing (or thinking of) a "Welcome" sign and have any to fit later models than 71's? We have a 78 Argosy Minuet (the painted Airstream) and I have been looking for something that says welcome. This might be it... if you design it, they will come!!

Can't wait to see someone who gets one and posts pictures for all to admire! Leigh

Beautiful! Great Job!!

...what about us non-vintage AS owners??!! nothing for us?

would love a 'welcome' sign (as suggested by Leigh) or a personalized sign with the name of the AS 'Titan" or family name. Any projects of those?

If yes let us know we're intersted! You may PM us costs.

thanks

screen door guards

Hello!

I DO want to make them for all years. I do not know the width of later model screen doors, as I don't own one.
Measure the inside of your screen doors. Use the pic on ebay to see where I have it mounted.
If it is 24" inside to inside frame it will fit.

If you are willing to pay to have one personalized, I can do that.
I am going to make "Welcome" editions also. But not for a bit.

Thanks all, for the kind words! I sincerely appreciate it.

Regards
David

dwinck,

I was out working on my 1995 Excella 1000 30 footer. The inside dimension between the screen frame is 24 inches.
