Airstream Clearance

I just got an ad email from the local STL dealer. He's having a clearance sale on new Airstreams with what looks to me as some pretty good discounts.

Here's the link to his site. I'm sure they have too much inventory to carry through the winter.

I know another dealer having a clearance sale!!!

As a matter of fact...we just took all of Middle Tenn. Airstream's inventory as they are no longer an Airstream dealer.

I got the same email as Jack did. Prices looked alright. A new DWR for $39K is an excellent price.

man if the i could talk my wife into a new one that would be cool but i don't think that would happen.
that Bill Thomas is were my trailer was sold new. the previous owners keep all the paper work from there purchase.
to bad if the new prices are droping like that trade in and resale are going to drop aswell.

The discount rate at the Harrisburg Pa RV show last week was running over 28% on anything that had wheels under it. And if you wanted to talk beyond that they did not escort you to the door.

I did take a year off to make some $$$$s but my "interim" role is ending at the end of October.

Your pictures on the thread below are truly disgusting...beyond poor quality control. As a CEO I CAN understand that "stuff" happens...but NO WAY should it get out the door to a customer.

IF my perpetual "search" ever turns to an actual purchase???...I would not feel competent to buy without a very experienced AS vet to help me with an inspection. As others mentioned on the 2008 Quality thread...I could be a real sucker and just take what is delivered.

Sure makes it tough to stay enthused about AS as a PREMIUM product...Thanks Tom R...stilllll looking in Two Harbors, MN

I even thought about having them install lower rock guards this next year. They were close enough to drive the trailer to. I guess I will have to order and install them myself.
