The 66-67 and 68 glass we ordered from Airstream, has been shipped to us.

They should arrive by September 29th, 2006.

It will be immediately available at "vastly" cheaper prices, in most case at least $90.00 cheaper for the curved windows, than currently available from any other source.

We feel proud to be able to provide these tempered windows that have been manufactured and tested to Airstreams specifications.

It has taken considerable time to bring this project to completion, but finally, "it's a done deal.

Part numbers, photo's and prices will be on our website, later this coming week. www.inlandrv.com

66',67',68' curved window glass

Andy, Does this mean that Airstream is producing this glass or is it an outside vendor making the glass to Airstream standards? Will it be available to order from all A/S dealers? Is the glass the original thickness or 1/8th inch as another vendor has available? Will they be making the flat front and rear window glass as well? All valid questions I think. Thanks, Ed

Ah, the free market economy once again does its thing! I love competition in the market place!

Ed.

We purchased the glass from Airstream, who had it produced for us, almost 3000 pounds of it.

It is exclusive to us.

Airstream is out of the older parts business and has been for years, and will stay that way.

The original glass was .118, which this is supposed to be.

Actually, .118 or .125 will not basically make any difference.

We will have the small, medium amd large curved windows, along with the front and rear flat glass.

Our prices will be considerably cheaper than any other source presently available.

We should have them in stock by this Friday, September 29th, 2006.

Andy

66-67-68 glass.

At the present rate of phone calls, the 3000 pounds of glass we just received, will be gone in short order.

However, we will also continue with the Lexan replacements as well.

Andy, does this mean that you will not have any more produced?

We will continue to have both Lexan and tempered glass for the 66,67 and 68 trailers.
