I have more of an adress but don't think it's good to put it on the forum. .
Bob , Brooksville, FL, USA, 34602.
It was something to do with the VAC if I remember.
As it is a VAC flag.
Does this help ?

If I remember, he's the one with the VAC stickers - sent him a check long long time ago, check never cashed, never heard about stickers.

If you look at the Table of Content page of the lastest Vintage Advantage, or the VAC web site, you will learn that Bob Herman is the former 1st Vice President, and now that officers have moved up at the International Rally, the current President of the Vintage Airstream Club. I imagine Bob H. and his wife, Bonnie, have been on the road for the past few weeks going to and attending the International Rally instead of sitting at home waiting for mail. Perry's $50 has not gone to the wind, and I'm sure Bob will get to mailing out the VAC flags in due course. Some things just take longer than others, VAC flags being among the longer.

The International is an amazing thing, as the entire WBCCI seems to revolve around it, and all regular activities screech to a halt for about a month before and after as everyone meanders their way to it, and then slowly meanders home again. The thing I have learned about the WBCCI is, don't be in a hurry, it will get done when it gets done

If the check never cashed, maybe he never got it. Now, if the check cashed, and you never got it, I'd be more worried (and would have raised a stink a long time ago) !

On the road
Bob and his wife are wonderful people and VACers who have been on the road for over a year now. The last I heard from them (about 3 months ago), they were calling from a campground on the PCH overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They travel for months and sometimes years at a time in their '64 Globetrotter and are among the most active Airstreamers out there, VAC or WBCCI.
I believe they have their mail forwarded, and I'm certain they were at the International this past week. With the time it takes for forwarding and shipping, I wouldn't be surprised at all that you haven't received anything yet.
The VAC is aware of the difficulties in supplying flags, stickers, and other materials and, last I remember, was looking for a volunteer "quartermaster" to oversee sales of materials. The job has fallen on Bob, and I think he does the best he can given their travel schedule.

They have been on the road and do have their mail forwarded regularly. I have been in email contact with them...although not always as timely as I would like, Bob does respond.
Perry, you may also be dealing with some international mail issues...please be patient...they are worth the wait!
Ken...they were out of print for quite awhile and there have also been some licensing 'issues' that are being sorted out between Airstream and the VAC which may have contributed to the lack of availability of some items.
BTW...we will have some stickers, flags and other VAC items for member attendees to purchase at the Rocky Mountain VAC Rally at the end of this month...sorry, no pre-orders will be taken.

50 Bucks In The Wind?
Greetings Perry!
I think that Shari and Molly are giving good guidance. I spent the last week parked a few coaches down from Bob, and can attest that this responsibilities as VAC First-Vice President/President Elect kept him VERY busy. There were more than a few unexpected issues that arose that were beyond anyone's ability to foresee, and Bob did a fantastic job meeting those challenges. Perry, in addition to International mailing issues, you may also be experiencing a normal delay that can occur due to the mail forwarding services that full-time RVers often rely upon - - the delay can approach a week or slightly more for domestic mail.
When I have ordered flags and related materials from Bob, I don't really start looking for their delivery via domestic mail for about eight weeks. My advice would be to give things a little more time to clear the mailing hurdles - - but if you haven't heard by the end of the eighth week, I would suggest messaging Bob.
Kevin
